Tasting Notes - ABV: 14.7%
Deep garnet red. The nose is led by Cabernet Franc's florals, spice and red berries, with a hint of Merlot's plum-pudding richness and the earthy, smoky eucalypt bouquet typical of Whalebone. The palate is fresh and lively, deeper than the nose suggests, with blackcurrant and redcurrant over fine, grainy tannins that build in intensity. The finish is savoury, elegant and long.
