2023 Gorrondona Txakoli, Basque Region, Spain

Tasting Notes  -  ABV: 11.5%

Pale straw-yellow with greenish tinges. The nose is expressive and clean with citrus blossom, white peach, and wild herbs — fennel, aniseed, and bay leaf — underpinned by a saline, Atlantic-mineral character. On the palate the wine is lively and slightly effervescent with bright acidity and flavours of citrus and green apple. Herbal notes persist through to a fresh, well-integrated finish with good length.
