2024 Lenton Brae Chardonnay, Wilyabrup, Margaret River, WA

Tasting Notes  -  ABV: 13%

Pale straw with gold hues. Aromas of cashew, jasmine, hazelnut and nougat, with grapefruit and salted lemon lifting the nose. The palate is concentrated and textural, with weight drawn equally from the fruit and sensitively handled oak. Fine, precise and focused with mineral character, subtle stone fruit richness, brioche and lemon curd. The acidity is bruleed grapefruit in style with a saline edge and samphire character adding pithy texture and driving the length. Long, vibrant finish. Will reward medium-term cellaring.
